EVENT STYLING

WHAT KIND OF EVENT STYLING DO YOU DO?

We are an event stylist and we specialise in decorating the venue space for weddings and birthday celebrations.

Not to be confused with event planners, an event stylist takes care of the look and feel of your celebration. With a talent for design and décor, event stylists are focused on bringing together the elements that create your desired celebration theme and aesthetic. They differ from event planners in that they don't manage the logistics and planning of your event, although they will work with some vendors to bring your event design to life.

I'M KEEN TO EXPLORE YOUR STYLING SERVICES, HOW DO I START?

If you'd like to skip the longer process of having a bespoke styling service, you may take your pick from one of the many standard styling templates that we have. The styling look/colour scheme and price is fixed so all you need to do is pick which one floats your boat most :) 

For those of you who wish to go for a more customised look, we'd need you to do a little bit of homework first before we can actually get down to some productive moodboarding. Narrow down your likes and dislikes by collecting visual references from anywhere (screenshots from Pinterest, google images, IG...) so we can understand your preferences and colour scheme better. The pink in your head may not be the same pink we have in ours so visual references are the best way to go about this.

Whether you eventually style your event with us or with another stylist, you will have to start somewhere and we're happy to be of help :)

 

HOW MUCH LEADTIME DO YOU REQUIRE?

The time it takes to style each event varies depending on the extent and complexity of each project, and whether or not there is a need to source and order special materials and props from overseas. As we are only able to work onsite for a limited number of projects each month, do reach out to us at least 9 months-a year prior to your wedding date and at least 3 months ahead for birthday party styling. Do note that for bespoke styling, depending on the scale, the discussion and moodboarding process normally takes us between 1-3 months before the final styling concept is conceived.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS LIKE?

Upon confirmation of quotation, a 50% deposit is required for us to commence work. The balance 50% will be due 1 week before the event date.

We accept payments via PayNow/PayLah and direct bank transfer.

We accept payments via major bank credit cards, PayNow/PayLah and direct bank transfer.

For payments through PayNow/PayLah and direct bank transfers, kindly let us know when you have made payment by dropping us an email or WhatsApp message so that we can check and process your order.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN AND REFUND POLICY?

If there’s a problem with your order please reach out to us at hello@toufoofoo.com within 3 working days of receiving the product, and we will be happy to assist you.

DO YOU ACCEPT BULK ORDERS?

PROPS RENTAL

HOW DO I RENT THE PROPS FROM YOU?

Our rental props are listed on our website here, under The 店 Shop section. So you can take your time to shop for the ones you'd like to rent and just make a payment for it, just like how you'd do an online shopping purchase!

HOW LONG CAN I RENT THE PROPS FOR?

The rental period is for 1 day between 9am to 9pm (applicable on any given day regardless of weekday, weekend or public holiday). 

 

HOW DO I GET THE RENTAL PROPS FROM YOU?

By default, all rental props are good for self-collection and return from/to our studio which is at Toh Tuck Road (nearest MRT = Beauty World).

Other delivery/collection options available:

  • Doorstep courier service by 3rd party provider - $10 per trip

  • Doorstep delivery service by TFF (for certain bulky/fragile rental sets) - $50 for a 2-way trip (meaning we will deliver to you and collect from you)

Doorstep delivery services will be subject to standard business operation hours (9am - 9pm) unless otherwise indicated/arranged.

 

WHAT IF MY PARTY OVERRUNS AND I CAN'T RETURN THE PROPS IN TIME?

For extension of rental hours, an hourly extension fee applies.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSES OR DAMAGE THE PROPS?

In the event any of the rental props is lost / damaged, the retail cost of the item will be billable to the customer.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A refundable security deposit is required for all props rental.

HOW MUCH TIME IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK FOR THE RENTAL PROPS?

As most of the props are only available in 1 piece or limited quantity, confirmation of all rental bookings is based on a first-pay-first-served basis.

Do note that making your booking and payment online does not equate to an absolute confirmation of your rental booking. As soon as we receive your rental order, we will check on the availability and follow up with you on the next steps to complete the rental process.

CONDITION OF RENTAL PROPS

As these props are on rental, and some of them may have visited many venues to lend their cheer to various celebrations prior, do expect that some of them may come with a teeny weeny bit of wear&tear, and will not be in a brand new, unutilised condition.​ We can only hope that these treasures maintain their condition after each celebration!

 

Rest assured that we'd be sure to highlight to you the areas of imperfections (even if some may possibly go unnoticed) upon each rental booking.

I CAN'T FIND WHAT I WANT TO RENT ON YOUR WEBSITE . . .

Ahahah but of course that may happen as we are only putting up props that we currently have in our store for rental. However, you may still reach out to us and let us know what you have in mind, and we'll see if that's something we can help you with :)

Kindly note that we may not be as thorough and swift in our response on IG messaging, so as a way of executing work efficiency, we would most prefer to consolidate all incoming inquiries via the email platform instead.
